1. Computing intelligence theory and applications
Research and development of Brain-computer interface (BCI), Neural Network, Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning, Computing Intelligence theory and applications in complex industry systems, Health Care and Bioinformatics.
2. Big Data and Knowledge Automation theory and applications
Research on Cloud Computing theory, Cloud Storage and High Performance Computing, Big Data Mining, Data Fusion and Knowledge Inference theory, and applications in safety management, smart city and plant, especially in internet of things, food safety and Hazardous chemicals
3. Systems engineering Based on the big data
Research on the complex system modeling method based on data-driven, the theory and method of the intelligent model and swarm intelligence optimization, the energy efficiency evaluation, system optimization theory and key technologies and decision making scheduling
