Geng Zhiqiang: Professor/PhD supervisor, School of Information Science and Technology, Beijing University of Chemical Technology.


He graduated from Zhengzhou University with a bachelor's and master's degree in Process Equipment and Control Engineering in 1997 and 2002. In 2005, he graduated from Beijing University of Chemical Technology with a doctorate degree in Control Science and Engineering. The research direction is in the fields of industrial big data and machine learning, intelligent optimization and control, abnormal monitoring and fault diagnosis. He is currently the deputy director of the Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education of Intelligent Process Systems Engineering, the director of the Data Science and Engineering Research Center of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, the director of the Chinese Society of Automation, the executive director of the Beijing Society of Automation, the executive director of the Beijing Society of Artificial Intelligence, the information technology application specialist of the Chinese Society of Chemical Technology Committee member/deputy secretary-general, member of the Process Control Committee of the Chinese Society of Automation, member of the Technical Process Fault Diagnosis and Safety Committee, and member of the Environmental Awareness and Protection Automation Committee. Presided over the National 863 Program, National Key Research and Development Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Education Project, Big Data Special Project of Guizhou Province, and Sinopec, China Petrochemical Process Intelligent Control, Big Data Analysis, Machine Learning, Production Safety Control and Energy Saving and Consumption Reduction. There are more than 20 intelligent application projects of PetroChina Engineering. He has won 2 first prizes and 1 second prize of provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress, more than 30 national invention patents and national software copyrights, and more than 100 academic papers published.

Scientific research results

1. Aiming at the complex petrochemical industrial process where it is difficult to establish a process mathematical model, a data- and knowledge-driven coordination modeling architecture and a self-organizing neural network and mechani** coordination petrochemical process modeling method are proposed, and specific industrial applications are carried out.

2. Aiming at the operation optimization problem of complex petrochemical process, a petrochemical process multi-level and multi-objective operation optimization method and dynamic multi-objective intelligent optimization decision-making algorithm are proposed, and industrial applications are carried out.

3. Aiming at the problems of energy saving and environmental emission reduction in the complex petrochemical process, a data fusion-based energy efficiency evaluation, energy saving potential ****ysis and operation optimization method for the entire chemical production process is proposed, and industrial applications are made.

4. Aiming at the safe operation and intelligent management and control of petrochemical processes, an overall chemical safety system solution of abnormal detection-alarm management-fault diagnosis-accident simulation-emergency treatment in the chemical process is proposed, and industrial applications are carried out.

5. In response to food safety issues, a big data platform for risk prediction, early warning and traceability throughout the food safety chain has been established and applied in practice.
