Biography Sketch

Zhengcai Cao received B.S. degree in automation from Heilongjiang University of Science and Technology in 1996, M.S. degree in electrical engineering and Ph.D. degree in mechatronic engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2001 and 2005, respectively. From 2006 to 2008, he was a postdoctoral researcher with the Research Center of Control Science and Engineering, Tongji University. In 2008, he became a faculty member with Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Beijing, China, and now he is a professor. From 2014 to 2015, he was a visiting scholar with King’s College London, London, U.K. From 2017 to 2022, he was a project manager of division 2 of engineering science, Natural Science Foundation of China. He was a senior member of IEEE.

His research interesting includes: 1) intelligent robotic, 2) artificial intelligence and machine learning, and 3) 

intelligent Scheduling.

曹政才国家重大人才工程特聘教授,首都科技领军人才,北京市高校课程思政教学名师,北京市课程思政教学团队负责人。2005年博士毕业于哈尔滨工业大学,2006-2008年在同济大学从事博士后研究工作,2014-2015年赴King’s College London进行学术访问。

担任Top期刊IEEE Transactions on CyberneticsIEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning SystemsIEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation SystemsIEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica SinicaAssociate Editor,“共融机器人基础理论与关键技术研究”重大研究计划秘书组成员,中国人工智能学会自然计算与数字智能城市专业委员会副主任委员。

科研方面主要研究领域为机器人的机构创成、环境理解和自学习控制,近五年主持国家自然基金委重大研究计划重点支持项目、国家重点研发计划课题、北京市自然科学基金等10余项,以第一/通讯在IEEE汇刊发表30余篇,申请国家发明专利50项,授权软件著作权7项。荣获中国自动化学会自然科学奖一等奖、高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖(科学技术)自然科学奖二等奖、机械工业科学技术奖技术发明奖二等奖。

教学方面近五年主持教育部、北京市、校级教改项目10余项;主讲课程《自动控制原理》入选北京高校“优质本科课程”,《机器人控制技术》入选教育部“拓金计划”和北京市高校课程思政示范课程;主编《自动控制原理》入选北京高校“优质本科教材”。荣获中国石油和化工教育教学优秀成果特等奖、北京市高等教育教学成果奖二等奖、中国自动化学会高等教育教学成果奖二等奖、北京化工大学研究生教学成果奖一等奖、北京化工大学本科教学成果奖一等奖。
